Books

Black Memory. Portraits of Afro figures in the history of Spain, by Antumi Toasijé, Darío Ranocchiari, and Elena Benito. This book is the record of a research-creation course held at the University of Granada in 2023 and a teaching tool to highlight, through art, the presence of Afro-descendant historical figures in Spain.

Africanity. Thirty topics on the History, Politics, Philosophy, and Culture of Africa and its diasporas. What is africanity? What is nsibidi? What is the importance of Sundiata Keïta? When was slavery abolished in Spain? What was the appearance of people in Ancient Egypt? Are there really 55 countries in Africa?... These are some of the 30 questions Antumi Toasijé answers in this book from an Africa-centered perspective.

The Unfathomable Night, novel by Antumi Toasijé. Is this life a grand stage? Is it possible to live a life without commitment to a cause? Will there, after death, be a judgment for our actions? This novel, set in a hypothetical world, delves into, explores, and questions—through characters crafted as realistically as they are evocatively—the major themes humanity has always asked itself: the meaning of life, relationships, love.

If you ask me about Pan-Africanism and afrocentricity, is a collection of writings in which Antumi Toasijé analyses African political philosophy, History, Civilization, and culture and proposes to build a dialogue between Pan-Africanism and afrocentricity.
